Err that focaccia is bloody amazing!! 🤩 I could tell it was a sunset/skyline, too!

Kudos for keeping at it with your novel 💪 totally get when having multiple passions that it’s easy to let one overtake the other.

As for the villain arc you guys are having/potentially having over there. I’d say you’re welcome in the UK any time… but it’s pretty much a shit show here, too 😅

Thank you Mark, so kind of you! I feel like my challenge was way easier than yours this past week, but they've made up for it with macarons this week. 😬

Maaaan, it's basically a shit show everywhere these days, the worst.

Thank you! A poolish is what's called a pre-ferment, so you put a bit of yeast, water, and flour in a bowl overnight and it becomes your bubbly bread starter. Sort of like a sourdough starter, but more low-key because it's commercial yeast and less time. But it adds more flavour.

“Because as much as writing is my favourite child, I don’t actually want to keep her at home forever, lurking behind my legs. One day, she has to leave home. And I am excited to let her.” Oh, bless, I relate to all of this so much (not just that passage but all the writing related stuff), and I love the way you illuminate the experience and the feelings.

Thanks a lot, Heidi. I relate to so much you say about writing, too. Why is it so hard and weird but also the best?? Haha!
